All kinds of Christians are getting mad about my Sarah Palin comments, and it is pissing me off.
First of all you – you fucking fake Christians – don’t fucking question my Christianity. I grew up in the church. My grandfather was a minister, who is with God now and talks to me in my dreams from God’s corner office. I am a former Sunday school teacher. I taught the Bible to children and showed them how to love God and invite him into their hearts. I believe in God – but I don’t fear him. God is my best friend. God is my ally. God is my boyfriend. God is my best fag. I am God’s fag hag cuz didn’t you know, God is a big fag. Serious bottom too. Butch in the streets, femme in the sheets. That is my God. God is my biggest fan. God gets me, dude.
God wants us all to just get along. He doesn’t give a shit about the profanity. The bitch fucking invented profanity. He thinks it is hilarious. He just wants you to talk to him, and he doesn’t care what you have to say. He just wants to keep the conversation going. Like Jay-Z, he just wants to love you. He just wants you to be able to make your own decisions. God is all about you and what you need. God is happy that you are gay. God made you fucking gay cuz he thinks it is awesome. God understands if you need to have an abortion. That is why he created abortion, on the 8th day. God accepts. God forgives. God loves all of us, even though some of us might have a problem with each other.

If you were truly Christians, you would let gays get married, and send them fucking presents from Bed Bath and Beyond!

That’s a false dichotomy. There is not just “Act as Jesus/God or act as Satan”. For instance, I can follow many other religions, and those do not necessarily align with Satan’s will/acts.
How do you know how to interpret the Bible hm? Did God himself tell you? How do you verify that?
As far as the ten commandments, I believe Jesus said it best.
Mt 19:16-19 “And behold, one came to Him and said, “Teacher, what good thing shall I do that I may obtain eternal life?” And He said to him, “Why are you asking Me about what is good? There is only One who is good; but if you wish to enter into life, keep the commandments.” He said to Him, “Which ones?” And Jesus said, “You shall not commit murder; You shall not commit adultery; You shall not steal; You shall not bear false witness; Honor your father and mother; and You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”
I align myself with those general morals, as do most moral societies, Christian or no.

But I find it rather exhausting for you and I to go back and forth on who’s right or wrong. Truth is neither of us are because we are not the ultimate judge on anything. God is. I appreciate your arguments in this matter but at this point Im agreeing to disagree.

What I dont understand is how you can think that Christians are so judgemental and horrible but you are doing exactly that.. judging Christians. If you ever want the vicious cycle to stop you should start with yourself… You cant control other peoples actions but you can control yours so if you want to not be judged I would suggest that you quit passing judgement on others especially such harsh crude judgement. Also with your semi-celebrity status the fact that you provoke other people to pass harsh judgement on Christians is insane. You want to not be judged and just live you life but loudly judge others that you dont agree with. Change begins with one person so why not use your voice for change not just more negativity…. If you want to be left alone leave others alone they are just doing what you yourself are doing, so how is it only wrong when they pass judgement on you.. not you on them???

OK! I am so embarrassed to be a Christian right now. This is so horrible of you to say. First of all, God did NOT invent profanity, that was MAN made. Technically, the only swear that takes the Lord’s name in vain, is his name. I would think that would be obvious.
If God invented people, then he invented them with the capacity to create profanity. If I give a gun to a child, and that child uses it, who will be blamed for the accident? I will, of course. And heck, I’m not omnipotent/omniscient! God created humans KNOWING they’d invent profanity!

It’s just too bad that no one will ever think about real issues (i.e, our shit economy or foreign relations, or, rather – in a certain politicians case – how far russia is from your backyard) because they’re too worried about who’s allowed to get married, what a woman is allowed to do with her body, and how 15 year olds should be taught about sex.
Gay people believe in GOD too. Gay members of our society pray to GOD everyday. Gay members of our society GO to CHURCH, serve god, and for all most of you know, GAY people are PROTECTING YOU.

This is amazing, thank you for this. I agreed with you wholeheartedly on the Palin issue, but I can completely relate to this one as well. How could someone, who says they truly love and follow God, say that God would hate anyone? Homosexuality is not a choice, this is proven. God has put these individuals, along with everyone, for a reason. Whether you follow Him or not, that’s up to you. I would LOVE to see in the Bible where it says that homosexuality is a sin and you will go to hell for it. Don’t just say it is, show me, quote it! And abortion is a choice, yes, but it’s the only choice for some. For those to say that someone, who was raped or is impregnated with a product of incest, should have this child…that’s that completely cruel and insensitive. And besides, if you are soo against it, you don’t believe in it…don’t do it; this applies with everything! It’s not YOUR life, mind YOUR business. Palin (and everyone else like her) makes me sick!!
I love the opportunity to remember that there are all kinds of Christians, which I first learned from my husband! And I mean that genuinely, in a sincere way. I do wish some of these commenters, Christian and non-Christian read and understood the Bible a bit better.

I just read your posts on Perez and had to come over here and tell you that I LOOOOOVE what you just wrote. I am NOT religious and attribute that mostly to “Christians”. I hate Christian dogma (or perhaps you’d say it’s “fake Christian” dogma? I’m not sure) and that is what has kept me away from religion in general — I grew up in the US to Latino parents and so most of the religion I have faced has been Christian. I hate the hate and the JUDGMENT of “Christians” (as that one bumpersticker says, “Jesus, please keep me away from your followers”, or as Ghandi once said to Christians, “I like your Christ, I do not like your Christians. Your Christians are so unlike your Christ”). It is that Christianity, and its effing judgment, that I have faced that has prevented me from ever admitting that I even consider believing in God. I’ve in no way ever wanted to be associated with the hypocracy of all those “Christians who believe in God”.
But YOUR Christianity is one I LOVE — no judgment, complete open understanding and ACCEPTANCE. THAT is a Christianity I can go with and what God, if there is one, wants us to be. Isn’t that what Jesus showed us?
