P-Town Shows Rescheduled; Largo variety show reformatted

We are sorry to announce that Margaret has lost her voice, and is under doctor’s orders not to try to speak for a few weeks. We’ve been forced to reschedule her Provincetown shows for a week later, to give her voice time to rest and recover. Margaret has also had to make some changes to her variety show in Los Angeles tomorrow. Please see below for details on both:

Margaret Cho: Live in Concert at the Vixen in Provincetown
These shows were originally planned for August 24 through August 31, but have been pushed back a week to August 31 through September 6.
We know what a big inconvenience this is for those of you who already purchased tickets and we’re sorry  we could find no way around this.

If you purchased tickets already and would like a refund, or to exchange tickets for one of Margaret’s new P-Town show dates, please contact the Vixen at 508-487-6424 .

We’d also also like to give you an autographed Margaret Cho: Revolution DVD as an apology, which you’ll be able to pick up in person at the Vixen, starting on Tuesday, August 25th. Just give them the name you used when reserving tickets for one of the original shows.

Doing It! With Margaret Cho and Friends at Largo in Los Angeles
an evening of comedy, music and burlesque
As for Margaret’s variety show, “Doing It! With Margaret Cho and Friends” at Largo in Los Angeles on August 20th, this show will go on as planned, but will be a little different: this may be the first time a comedian has performed a show without speaking or singing!

Margaret will still be performing burlesque, playing music and doing comedy throughout the show, but with a little help from her friends, who will be acting as her voice. This will be a show like you’ve never seen before!

Margaret’s guests include:
Selene Luna
Nadya Ginsburg
Jon Brion
Mark Eitzel
Andy Dick
Ian Harvie as emcee

If you would like a refund for this show, please email Support@BrownPaperTickets.com or call 1-800-838-3006.

  1. Can’t talk for a few weeks? That must be a living hell for her. Margaret, think of it as a spiritual exercise, a very difficult exercise (but all the best ones are)

Have something to add?
