is my first ever cover story. I wrote it freelance for Back Stage West.
I'm their Casting Assistant and Rob Kendt, the editor, saw me reading Margaret
Cho's autobiography one day. As they say, the rest is her-story.
Sadly, they edited all the stuff about her involvement with the gay community and being a fag-hag and stuff. They thought I was writing "too hip" or something. Oh, and I know the headlines are lame. Please don't blame me—I didn't write them.
I was there when Jamie took that picture of Margaret on her porch in the Hollywood Hills. She liked the Diesel dress I had on, and I got to pet her dog Ralph... it was cool. She's one hot momma. I've been her fan for a while, and this article was a blast to write.
