I’m a Christian, you Fuckers

All kinds of Christians are getting mad about my Sarah Palin comments, and it is pissing me off.

First of all you – you fucking fake Christians – don’t fucking question my Christianity. I grew up in the church. My grandfather was a minister, who is with God now and talks to me in my dreams from God’s corner office. I am a former Sunday school teacher. I taught the Bible to children and showed them how to love God and invite him into their hearts. I believe in God – but I don’t fear him. God is my best friend. God is my ally. God is my boyfriend. God is my best fag. I am God’s fag hag cuz didn’t you know, God is a big fag. Serious bottom too. Butch in the streets, femme in the sheets. That is my God. God is my biggest fan. God gets me, dude.

God wants us all to just get along. He doesn’t give a shit about the profanity. The bitch fucking invented profanity. He thinks it is hilarious. He just wants you to talk to him, and he doesn’t care what you have to say. He just wants to keep the conversation going. Like Jay-Z, he just wants to love you. He just wants you to be able to make your own decisions. God is all about you and what you need. God is happy that you are gay. God made you fucking gay cuz he thinks it is awesome. God understands if you need to have an abortion. That is why he created abortion, on the 8th day. God accepts. God forgives. God loves all of us, even though some of us might have a problem with each other.

Don’t fucking question my Christianity you fucking idiot assholes. If you continue to have a problem, then talk to God about it, not me, you fucking racist homophobic misogynist fake Christian shitheads. God thinks it is funny that I swear so much. He said I could use his name in vain or whatever. He just wants me to use it. He loves me. So fuck you. And I guess he loves you too. Even though you are fake Christian assholes. If you were truly Christians, you would let gays get married, and send them fucking presents from Bed Bath and Beyond!

If you truly believed in Jesus, you would try to be like him and love us, fags and dykes and feminists all. God bless you, even you. You fucking fuckers.

  1. Thank you. I was wondering if it was just me incredulous because my best friend thinks I’m going to hell for not believing in her God.

Catholic Highschool and Ms M may have made me an atheist but at least I still fucking love everybody. Even if I do think a hateful God is a sham.

  2. Some of these religious wing nuts need to shut their traps and preach to their own kind.
Bill Maher said it right when he told John Fund of the Wall Street Journal. “Shame on you. You Republicans know these people are stupid and will believe any lies you tell them.”

That’s what you are, you crazy, Jesus freaks. STUPID. You believe any ole crap someone dishes up to you. You try and teach your children there is no such thing as science or any other religion. Try to educate yourselves before you are extinct like the dinosaurs.

God help us all if these morons get anywhere running the government. We’ve seen one religious moron – BUSH – already fuck up the US far worse than anything else.

  3. No one can question YOUR Christianity, but you’re free to question everyone else’s?

You sound an awful lot like the people you hate so much. How exactly are you emulating Christ? I see no love for you enemies here. You “guess” that Jesus loves the people you don’t like? Really? Jesus loves gays, and he loves uptight Republicans, too. He doesn’t love them any more or less than you loves YOU.

Jesus loves everyone, including the people you hate.

If God wants us all to get along, how are you helping with that?

  4. Don’t EVER feel the need to explain yourself to ignorant people. If they didn’t like what you have to say – they can easily close the website window. It’s just so funny how Christians try to judge people like they are GOD. I mean come ON. Btw, I’m Christian and all, but not GOD, and that last post was HILARIOUS. See you in church tomorrow?

  5. Wow, that’s perhaps one of the most idiotic things I’ve ever read. Good job on displaying how one can twist Christianity in order to justify his/her special interests.

I’m not Christian, either – I just have a conscience.

  6. This humanist loves you dearly for this post. Rock on sister, and thank you for helping me remember that there are plenty of sane and decent Christians out there. (And I’m sorry your faith’s reputation has been hijacked by bigots, haters and authoritarian assholes. My understanding is that your Jesus wouldn’t be digging that either…)

  7. Well good lord, Margaret. (Indeed!) You said it.

We met in Memphis last time you came through. You talked to my friend about buying clothes on eBay.

    lolz were had.

    *biiig hugs*

  8. its people like you who are turning our world into crap. I hope you never have children. Cause with the way you will raise them, the world really will be full of f*****s.

  9. With the depressing turn of events of late (the media fawning all over Palin, etc.), your blog post just made my YEAR! Thank you for saying exactly what I feel (even though I am actually a godless atheist)! The “christian” right wing, evangelical fuckwads make my skin crawl and strike me as the most hypocritical, narcissistic kool aid drinkers known to humanity.

  10. I totally get what you said on OutLaugh, about Jesus coming back to tell us all….”THAT’S NOT WHAT I MEANT!!!” Just add “fuckers” and we’re totally with you. I am sick to my soul of being told what a shit I am cos I’m not like everyone else. Just keep doing what you’ve been doing and we’ll watch you, go to your concerts, read your stuff, and generally get in line behind you to tell these assholes to shove it.

  11. Wouldn’t dream of questioning you, Margaret.

You have nothing to question. And those of us who do have a salvific, personal, unending relationship with Jesus Christ–the one thing that makes a person a Christian–aren’t fooled for a millisecond into thinking you’re a Christian in the first place.

My prayer is that it’s not too late for you, and for those individuals posting here who share your perspective, to truly accept Christ as Lord and Savior.

  12. i am christian.
    i drink.
    i swear.
    i have sex.
    i smoke.
    i argue.
    ive done drugs.
    i support gay marriage
and a woman’s right to choose.
    when i was a kid
    i would steal
    and cheat and
    skip school
    and although beautiful-
i think going to church is boring
    and do not attend regularly.

    but-
i also care about my friends
    and my family.
    i work hard.
    im a college graduate.
    i treat others with respect.
i help those who are in trouble.
i take care of people when they are sick.
i lend an ear when people are sad.
i live every day i am alive to its absolute fullest.

i am christian because i believe in
    being a good person.
i am christian because i am accepting
of all people, no matter what race, religious background
    or ideals.
i am christian because i apply myself,
as a kind, loving person to everything i do
and have made my own successful path in life.

and i am better than those to claim to be
the real followers of god because i actually have reasonable beliefs and
ideas and morals and can think for myself.
and i am actually out in the world practicing being
a better person while they spend all their time
sitting indoors listening to other people
tell them what is right and what is wrong…
and then preach old and tired methods not because
    they believe in it,
but because they are scared not to.

    so i say-
    go out, get drunk,
    swear at your friends,
    cause a little trouble,
fuck up but be prepared to
    deal with the consequences,
    have fun but take responsibility
    for your actions,
    apologize when youre wrong,
be an individual- not a follower,
    create your own standards…

just do it all as a good person
with good intentions and youll sleep
better at night than those who are
    too busy worrying about what
    god thinks.

    cheers!

  13. I was raised Catholic. I’m lapsed, but I’m still Catholic. That’ll never leave you…

I don’t know if I can still believe in God, as such, even a little bit. I believe the universe makes sense, a kind of sense which my teeny human mind will never understand. I believe that ther eis some sort of underlying pattern. I believe in the Divine, although I am not sure what I think that means.

I find it harder and harder to even countenance the idea of some big dude in the sky, frowning at me and shaking his fist.

But I still think Jesus would be cool to hang out with. I still want him to be my friend. And he still is.

  14. I love the way you write.

    I have a question.

What do you know about Evangelists that makes you think they are not Christian?

Seriously. I’ve been in a third world country for the last 8 years, where they have been doing some good. What are the doing in America?

  15. If you are a christian as you claim your are, then you have read the bible correct?
If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them. — Lev.20:13

  16. You are 100% right Thxs for the funny….But really I think god got some real PuNaNee and he likes it…..ALOT!!! ALOT!!!….LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL>….

  17. Miriam the reason that man should not lie with man is that there was to be no spilling of seed in those times except to procreate… in essence masturbation, wet dreams and contraception all also violate that. Many forget that much of what is in the bible is a reference to the culture of the times… some who wrote in it had never themselves met jesus. The important thing to me is that you follow the commandments and that you treat everyone as Jesus did.. equally and unjudging.

Even if you believe that people will be judged by God does that make it your place to judge them? Do you see yourself as having the ultimate knowledge of God? I respect your beliefs but no one has infallible knowledge of God and all too many times people cast God in their own image. Much of the places where homosexuality is decried the real sin is in fact rape or prostitution of other men.

I just find it interesting that off all the sins people are still selective and homosexuality (an easy one to resist are you not born that way) continues to be politically relevant while others do not. What about immigration? After all “You shall not wrong or oppress a stranger, for you were strangers in the land of Egypt.”

And In verse 49, the prophet writes, “Behold this was the iniquity of thy sister Sodom, pride, fulness of bread, and abundance of idleness was in her and in her daughters, neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy.” Yet many that proclaim to be christian would rather do the work of God in judgement than be truly charitable, pay taxes to help the needy and fund public services. One would suppose they have a justification for themselves but not for others.

  18. Fran: Oh no you didn’t. Pay taxes to help the “needy” and fund public services? Can you show me one person on welfare who is TRULY needy? Last time I checked they were all picking up their free money and buying Air Jordans with it.

You must live in a state with NO ONE on welfare. Otherwise, if you lived in my state you’d feel a lot differently.

  19. Maggie, you are right there are a lot of people who abuse the system. I was just trying to use an example (perhaps a bad one) where people who claim to be christian act in a very ungiving manner. I am personally an agnostic, i respect others beliefs but the hypocrisy of some is annoying.

I do know people on welfare who are genuinely struggling and benefitting from it but i take your point taxes dont always go where they should (ps i dont live in a state i live in england where taxes also fund the national health service)… the massive gap between the rich and poor just riles me especially when people are all about themselves yet claiming to follow the bible when it lets them judge others.

  20. I’m an Athiest but go you. I was raised Christian by my gay mother and I agree with you 200%. I’m sending this to her as soon as I submit this comment. Also, everything you say is gold.
